EVERYDAY CARE

Wear with care.

We recommend putting on your TORO jewellery as the final touch to your outfit, after applying perfume, skincare, makeup or hairspray.

To preserve its finish and delicate construction:

  • Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, lotions, oils and household chemicals.
  • Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
  • Handle your jewellery gently and avoid pulling, twisting or stretching the woven beadwork.

 

CARING FOR JAPANESE GLASS BEADS

TORO jewellery is handwoven using Japanese Miyuki and Toho glass beads, selected for their precision, uniformity and beautiful finishes.

Although glass beads are durable, their delicate surface coatings and metallic finishes require thoughtful handling.

To maintain their original appearance:

  • Avoid friction against rough or abrasive surfaces.
  • Do not immerse your jewellery in water.
  • Avoid contact with alcohol-based products, harsh detergents or chemical cleaners.
  • Never use ultrasonic or steam-cleaning devices.
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth when necessary.

Some metallic and coated bead finishes may naturally change with prolonged wear and exposure to moisture or friction. Gentle care will help preserve their appearance.

 

CARING FOR GOLD-PLATED COMPONENTS

TORO jewellery features premium 18K gold-plated and silver-plated stainless-steel components, chosen for their refined appearance and durability.

Gold / silver plating is a delicate surface finish that may gradually wear with use. To extend its beauty:

  • Keep metal components away from moisture, perfumes and chemicals.
  • Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
  • Avoid abrasive polishing cloths, jewellery dips and chemical cleaning solutions.
  • Store separately to prevent scratching and unnecessary friction.

 

STORAGE

A little space makes a difference.

When not being worn, we recommend storing your TORO jewellery in its original packaging or a soft jewellery pouch.

Keep each piece separately in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.

For woven bracelets, flat storage is ideal. Avoid folding, sharply bending or placing heavy objects on top of the beadwork.
